How do you feel about American soldiers that have died and that have KILLED hundreds of thousands for you and your families safety? I do not subscribe to the notion that these people HAD to die. Was Vietnam a war defending our national security? And how exactly did the Gulf War defend freedom, when most of the Arab states are the antithesis of freedom and democracy? BTW, there is a family friend who fought in WWII. He was a pilot over Germany who successfully flew about 30 missions and lived to talk about it. By all accounts, a hero by your definition. I recently had the priviliege of talking about recent events with him; surprisingly, he is now of the same mindset that I am. veteransforpeace.org Before I am American I am human. There are principles I try to live by that take precedence over "laws" here in America. And who is to say that I would not be here had American soldiers not died? You certainly cannot answer that question with any definitiveness. The answer remains unknown. Regards, Brian
