Knip, Every nation has a vested interest in checking terrorism at least the highly virulent strain from bin laden. Even Iraq one day may choose to take another path. I heard a bit of that in the interview with tarik aziz yesterday. My personal view is that McCain is giving the administration some cover and more or less floated a trial balloon this weekend for ground troops. Today we are talking in-country staging bases. Please notice the relationship between the hanging of HAQ and todays cave bombings looking for taliban and bin laden. McCain give Bush strength because folks like us on the left as well as the right love this guy. mike
