I think it does make sense here, and thought it was in response to the article Kholt posted. I checked out your other post, and see what you are referring to. You and I have talked about this some. I don't know anything about this "comprehensive ban" thing. Have you checked out the cases I mentioned to you? I think Racial Profiling sucks. As would Religious Profiling. Profiling is a great tool. In my understanding of how it has worked (and what brought it to national attention) would be to start pulling over every man who looked Middle Eastern. Now this isn't the "war on drugs". Or the "war on blacks by some idiots". This is more serious. And maybe we do that? But once you pull them over, the profile of a terrorist is more complex than "looks like Middle Eastern". If it comes to light that the anthrax was sent by a white-chistianidentity group, when we agree that all young white males should be suspects, I will agree that it is not a targeting of "the other", but a desire to protect our nation. And I found nothing offensive in your post.
