hmaly, A price war is like a dance...it takes two to tango.
Who fired the first shot? Whose was the first conception that they were losing share to AMD due to price? That was Intel, so AMD had better cheaper and so Intel responded and thus the war starts, until then Intel is just peacefully losing share.
