James, a couple of short months ago not a single bull existed on this thread. The shorts were hyping the benefits of shorting at prices much lower than today. Nothing fundamentally has changed since that time; no new announcements, no new earnings, nothing. Yet we don't have any shorts posting anymore. I suspect they moved off to greener pastures. The stock priced seemed to rebound at the same time the sentiment on this thread turned bullish. I find that interesting. The rebound also occurred when Vivus announced a share buyback program (perhaps that is why shorts left, they recognized that the company would support the stock price). Maybe when tone of this thread turns bearish we will see the stock fall.
