Gus,

You are giving too much credit to the Chargers' defensive line. They've already cost them two games and almost a third one yesterday. Johnson played well yesterday there is no denying it. However, several Charger defenders were out of the game in the second half. Including, Seau and Wiley which resulted in less pressure on the QB. Tomlinson was out too thereby removing the Chargers running game.

What actually made the game close was the several miracle catches made by Bills receivers and a few questionable penalties called on SD in the final two drives.

As for Johnson making a great QB, I don't think so. He jut doesn't have the right wits to do so.
