lorne-- I do not know what that idiot said as I keep the ignorant on ignore BUT my understanding is the 2 ladies being held in Affy now is their own doing. Their plight began prior to 9/11. Had they been in trouble a year ago they probably would have been sent home as UNwanted there. Now sadly they are pawns. At any time giving the PERCEPTION speaking of christianity was enough to to get one in trouble. Not being close to or having researched the situation what has been presented indicates one hell of a set up or some very stupid ladies. At this time, with the info available the latter looks more probable. Lets hope they get sent home but not hold our breath waiting on that to happen. The taliban will see their supporters pissed if they are released now. Should they be executed the will incur more of the wrath of the US and world. T will most likely give them some incarceration time in a place they hope will be bombed so the US gets the blame...
