Definitely a volatile sector. Spoke with Fidelity today regarding the margining of LGNDW. Even tho the Fed says its marginable, Fidelity won't margin it. They talked about the time value degradation and say the underlying stock is too volatile. That is why they require 80% of funds for buying LGND stock on margin. Interestingly enough they only require 60% for CYTO. And for Genzl, only 50%, probably because GENZ stands behind it.

Of course at Quick and Reilly, its 50% for all the above. I have tried to get more info on Lynne Baron's previous positions, but to no avail. Not a great last 2 days for LGND.
