NEW YORK, June 25 (Reuter) - Cisco Systems Inc was one of
the few stocks trading during the quiet after-hours session,
down at 68-1/2 from a close of 68-3/4 on the Nasdaq, dealers
said Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the company announced charges for its fiscal
fourth quarter as a result of the acquisition of two companies.
Nasdaq halted trading in Komag Inc before the
company forecast weak results for the second quarter and
remainder of the year due to weak demand for disk drives.
"There isn't a whole lot going on," said one trader.
The New York Stock Exchange said Wednesday that session one
had a volume of 21,000 shares against 9,000 the previous day,
while session two had 4.9 million compared to 11.4 million.
