Yep, I got the same info as you, from their investor page, LOL.
However .... fidelity.com quotes BAE Systems as BAESF.
They use a "tracking symbol" (BAESF in this case), in order to report Foreign Exchange Transactions.
I believe that the "F" actually means "Foreign", in this case.
The actual "London stock" can be viewed on Yahoo as BA.L It went up 5 pence today. My 500 share transaction ( purchased as BAESF at Fidelity) has increased by 2.5 British Pounds. Not sure if that would pay for pint in London, today ?
BTW, I "got nowhere" with the symbol "BAESY", so tried BAESF.
Many of the Canadian stocks are also tracked with "tracking symbols" ending with an "F" as well.
Just as an example, my favorite Toronto stock, Wi-Lan, trades as WIN.TO or T.WIN, depending on where you try to get quotes ..... but it is tracked, here in the US (at Fidelity) as WILIF.
The Fidelity Quote is as shown below.
Since I'm probably boring most people, I will drop this subject, and go back to lurking.
Best, Mardy.
