Thomas, in January 1996 with the Dow at 5600 it had never been that far above it's 50 day moving average then either. The average forward looking EPS on the Dow stocks then was 16.5. The average forward looking EPS on the Dow stocks today is 16.2. Corrections are possible, the small stock index and the technology index, however, may be the more decisive aim. IOM at $18.5? A latent wish? Hopefully IOM will be able to break from old patterns created/instigated by professional traders.
