I love it! Kids will think of new excuses every time! I will persevere. You know, there is a place within walking distance of my office called "Perseverance Basin." It is the site of early gold mining activity. I walked up there one weekend. Something about the terrain didn't look right, so I walked over to see what bothered me. It was a glory hole, a giant pit in the ground left over from the gold-mining days. You can see remnants of the tunnels they used to create it and pieces of old hydraulic mining equipment. Our local soup kitchen for the homeless is called "The Glory Hole." Our professional theatre is called "Perseverance Theatre." My wife acted in two plays on its second stage.
