At least I got a refund from the IRS cartel. Median home prices have dropped about 15 to 20 % in my area. The money that is pumped into the system hopefully will be fed into companies that have real business models and can generate real profits. At least the VCs and the bankers will learn this time from their past mistakes. The bursting of tech bubble is forcing companies to become lean, efficient and productive. Lays off have not yet stopped (a worry factor even for me). But hopefully the job scene will improve. Lockheed winning a 200 Billion defense contract is definitely a huge drop in the economy bucket. If I am right, the entire global telecom spending per year is almost close to that. I don't see inflation in terms of rising wages for professionals and the average salaries are going down compared to last year.
