Actually that is a great idea. Thanks. You thread appropriately is called: Islam; The message, and this one is called Understanding Islam. We now have a thread that talks about Islam's mesage, and this thread that tries to understand that message as appropriately titled: Understanding Islam.
It is sort of like having JDSU general thread, and JDSU News Only thread that only the specific company related news are posted.
There is one problem, you seem to have excluded me from posting on your thread! I think that is a bit unfair! After all I on this thread accomodated you to every last of your desires. I even renamed this thread to make you happy, and even removed and added some additional resource links in my introduction post again to make you happy!
But you simply could not tolerate the facts on Quran's messages that I was trying to understand, and got upset and left and created your own thread. And now you have excluded me to post on that thread!
But I guess you are trying to be a good Muslim and following the teachings of intolerance, and that is why you have placed me among the rest of the people who do not agree with your views on ignore list. I am so glad SI does not provide the tools for you to cut my (or others) heads off - otherwise we would have a true genune Islamic thread here (the same way we have with genuine Islamic societies such as Saudi Arabia, etc.) and their harsh punishments of people who oppose the state/church's view points!! :)
In any event, in case you care to comment once again to my another attempt to understand the following Surrah (which was actually the reason this thread started to begin with):
[4:34] The men are made responsible for the women, ** and GOD has endowed them with certain qualities, and made them the bread earners. The righteous women will cheerfully accept this arrangement, since it is GOD's commandment, and honor their husbands during their absence. If you experience rebellion from the women, you shall first talk to them, then (you may use negative incentives like) deserting them in bed, then you may (as a last alternative) beat them. If they obey you, you are not permitted to transgress against them. GOD is Most High, Supreme.
