10:05AM ET The Nasdaq gapped lower at the open taking out both its 20 exp and 50 simple moving averages (1685/1680) which will provide resistance as the market begins the stabilization process with a secondary resistance barrier in the 1700/1705 area. Next support in the 1660/1650 congestion area...Consumer Confidence just released at 85.5 vs consensus 95.9. Initial market reaction is sharply lower. Expectations component down to 70.8 vs 78.1 in Sep... Difficult to find any sectors moving higher. Cruise lines are higher, led by Royal Caribbean (RCL 10.60 +1.45, +16%).
