That is so true. About 8 years ago I built my own house(modular) in Rockaway NJ. I acted as the general contractor, but hired one to do the leg work. My total cost, except land was $67psf, and that included foundation, all utility hookups, appliances, carpeting, complete. Only thing not included in that price was the patio/deck, landscaping.

It just amazes me what people think homes are really worth. Not to call it a true bubble, but reminds me of how so many never thought that the market would drop. Just a bit more than a year ago, I remember clearly the words - NASDAQ 8000
