Let's see, Hitler killed 10M people and Stalin killed 20M (top of my head full of old neurons). They were both EVIL. I don't think we had a choice. Hitler was beating the west, Stalin's Russia saved us, but it ultimately cost all of eastern Europe and a cold war for 40 years.

I don't think Sadam is any better than Bin Laden, but he has far more to lose. We should deal with anyone if the deal is favorable to us, but we should not have any illusions about the scum we must deal with.
