Gordon, I don't think it is a good idea to rely on fmk -- I know he seems knowledgeable and is very popular but I have read all of his posts and he is not one I consider reliable. As I understand it the figure he gave you is not reliable. I think the best bet is not for me to start a fight here but to strongly caution you to check that number out (and everything else posted by him (and me for that matter)). Ask Valence "what the wHR/kg and the wHR/l are for their production battery not their prototype. (kg = kiliogram and l=liter) I don't think this message will be received well and I am not prepared to answer the barrage that I expect and is typical anytime anyone tries to contradict fmk or even ask critical questions. So I will not respond to any posts by or directed from fmk. Look back and see his posts. I think you will see what I am talking about. At one point he claimed valence's battery was as good as electrofuel's -- completely false. techstocks.com Please, I do not want to turn this thread into a battle ground so lets try to focus on just "publicly announced" figures. If we allow rumors and unverifiable info what's to stop what happended at the valence thread from happening here. If you can, get the Darnell report it will give you all the info you need without relying on either me or fmk. That's the best advice I can give. It is best for everyone to find out for themselves and not to rely on any guru. Once everyone gets informed then we can try and rank them together here at this thread. Thank you very much. I appreciate all you input and effort and contributions to this thread. I do not want to end up dominating the discussion or the knowledge supply. When that happens too much bias and adgendas enter (similar to what has happended at the vlnc thread -- the agenda speaks for itself)
