Oldtrader, The 8200 is a desktop; you might have meant an 8100 laptop. Last month I purchased a less expensive DELL 2500 laptop...gave up some of the bells and whistles of your friend's system, but saved a bit in weight. Absolutely love it. The 8200 desktop will replace a 1998 DELL Dimension PII 450 system which has performed flawlessly since I purchased it. I don't even think about other brands for new systems. I wish DELL would do a Pocket PC machine!!! (I ain't buying an Ipaq). etc....Various polls have the NYC mayoral race being lead by Mark Green over Mike Bloomberg despite a large endorsement by Guiliani. Hope this isn't a proxy for the way NYC residents will vote come Madame Hillary's re-election. I'm outside NYC proper so can't exersice my vote of disdain for Hillary or Green. Was at the ground zero memorial this past Sunday. I can't even imagine an old world politics as usual Mark Green coordinating the required effort, nor surrounding himself with the level headed independent team that will be required by this city for years to come to continue with the clean up/safety/ rebuilding ,etc..efforts.
