how many more times are we going to be hostages to both US and Middle East Oil??????? You don't get it do you? Most Americans don't care where we get our oil. Most Americans willingly fork over petro-dollars for the security of preserving a way of life. When the time comes that our planet has no more oil to give, we will willingly fork over dollars to preserve that which has yet to be invented. I understand your frustration, you seem like an intelligent individual, but you will NOT convince Americans, or any other nation, to abandon oil. There are not enough alternatives available to ensure that we can maintain our current level of functionality, and until such alternatives are readily available we will continue to consume oil. My hat is off to those that commute by alternative means even though their transportation most likely relies on petro-fuels. Be patient Chris, your time is coming. M
