did ya win mass quantities of dollars Nope, but I didn't lose mass quantities either. I brought a certain amount of cash I was willing to gamble, and didn't come close to blowing it all. This is a pretty remarkable accomplishment given the fact that I decided to not play blackjack (which I am very good at) in favor of learning craps (which I had never played before). Playing fairly conservatively to keep the house edge to the minimum, I had two break-even sessions, one spectacular session where I quintupled (5-times???) my stake, and two where I was blown out within a half hour each time. I must be getting old because I only pulled one all-nighter (the night I won of course). Saw a good show (The Amazing Jonathon) at the Nugget, a bad show (EFX starring Rick Springfield) at the MGM, and slept through a free concert by Ozzy on Fremont Street. All in all, a good time....but missed my kid so much I was ready to come home days ago.
