Don-

I was in the same boat as you. I haven't bought NM options since Feb, I think. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, isn't it? I've always been pretty sure that NM would be acquired, and sure enough, the corporate reshuffling and appointment of Lehman sure looks like it's going to happen. It's not a matter of "if," it's a matter of "when." It's always been that way; I just figured that there should have been a 13D at some point. I'm still not sure why we didn't see one. I'm sure some answers will be forthcoming next week.

As far as their quarter, I imagine there will be a slight operating loss, as well as a huge one-time charge, due to the write-down of certain assets, etc.

I've never sold any NM, but I haven't bought anymore since I last reported it. I already have too much. Although if NM is bid at $20, I'll not have enough! That's the way it works, though. I still think the stock is attractive for those who haven't bought any yet. However, before screaming BUY!, I'd like to see what the report looks like.
