We are all painfully aware of what happened to us Chris, and don't need you to point it out to us although I guess it can't be said enough. We have all of those wonderful memorials created on line to look at. We have responsible news organizations pointing it out to us, lest we do forget.
May I suggest that you do some alternative reading and give the NYT a rest? They are proving over and over again their utter dislike for America and everything American. They are proving over and over again that they are a rag news organization on a par with the National Enquirer and The Star.

The NYT would like you to believe that they are the last word, but that simply isn't true. They are members of a small minority that consider themselves Elite Media and actually believe that they know better than you and me.
Leaders from all over the world fully understand what we are all up against, even if the Elitist media would have you believe otherwise. I have posted a link below. It is an article by Maureen Dowd, a most vile individual imo. What she has to say is hogwash. She and Thomas L. Friedman are of the same ilk and DO NOT represent the huge majority of Americans. It seems they would have us all believe that they know more than anyone about what is happening, including but not limited to:
The President of The United States (who they obviously despise), the Joints Chiefs of Staff, all of the Military and Security personnel. The FBI and the CIA. The leaders of Pakistan, China, Japan, Micronesia, Italy, Germany, France, England, Turkey, Mexico, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, Russia, the Stans, South Korea, Indonesia, Australia, Finland, Norway, Sweden. The list goes on and on. Plus the millions upon millions of individuals across the world that condemn terrorism.
They are part of a small fringe minority that disparages America from within, and who's agenda is to cast doubt and divide us. Don't let these insignificant individuals be the last word. Garner as much information as you can from as many sources as possible, and take them all into consideration before you give in to their petty mischief. They really don't know much at all.
I am not saying that I do either. What I am saying is that we all owe it to ourselves and our country to become as thoroughly informed by reading and digesting information from as many credible sources of information as we possibly can. Then and only then should be make our decisions, and then we must base those decisions on facts, not innuendo or opinion.
