Welcome aboard, let's address your concerns 1. If anyone does have a better board at this price point I would not be immediatly concerned because of 3DFX's current software support. 2. The Stingray128/3D is a very sloppy rush job board, that I'm sure, with a bit more engineering can be introduced as a single board with only 6 chips on it (ALSC+2MBintegrated, odd/even 3DFX, 2x4MB RAM, Bios). That will be the under $200 OEM board we'll see soon. 3. There IS a Voodoo II chipset in the works, and it WILL be backwards compatible with the existing software installation base. Glad to see you recognize their current superiority, hopefully the money raised today was not just to "cash-in" but allow the company to R&D themselves into continued success and market penetration. I see you are a 3DO fan... so, when are they going to come out with some decent software titles? Meridian... give me a break.
