I agree with you Angler. I do believe that WSJ, CNBC as well as the large institutions are doing their part to keep the market propped. You can see a "ramp up" as the market goes to close many days. I can see where this has been useful to keep a panic from developing but there is little to be excited about in stocks right now. There are certain exceptions but there will be profit taking, tax season or not. Most have some losses to soften capital gains. I started to sell TTN Monday but just put in a day order at a set price and did not set a stop. Bummer.
