Tony, I know you'll beat me to it, but Paul's answer (not in quotes since this is my summary of what he said):

It's interesting how competitors flaunt clock speed when they have it, and then try to disregard it when they don't. Most OEMs have seen through this charade.

Edit: The question was relating to AMD's comments about clock frequency not mattering. Otellini's response also said that Pentium 4, being 500MHz faster, continues to lead in most benchmarks, even older ones.
