Latest News on "The Alert"

FOX TV reported that an intercept was obtained in Argentina identifying a Bin Ladin cell based in Bogota, Colombia. That cell has reportedly obtained "nuclear materials".

Information obtained from that and other sources led intelligence to conclude the plan is to construct a "dirty bomb" i.e. a large quantity of conventional explosives are surrounded by highly radioactive material. When the conventional explosives are detonated, the radioactive material is spread over a wide area causing lethal contamination. Further information is that the group and the radioactive material has probably already crossed our border with Mexico and is enroute for the, as now, unknown target.

Another example of what can happen when a central government cannot control it's national borders. And I'm going to pound and pound the table on this till EVERYBODY calls his congressman and raises holy hell about it.

Of course, the report could turn out to be incorrect. But I wouldn't bet on that. Bottom line? Get emotionally prepared to witness a very nasty "SECOND SMASH".

Then let's see if they're ready to seal the borders with our military forces vs screwing around bombing tents in the Afghan desert while our nation is wide open to one massive attack after another.

Like charity. Defense "begins at home". Secure the home front FIRST. Then worry about sending an Army to Afghanistan!

I think the word is....."Prioritize"
