abx is heavily hedged, sold forward tons of their gold at low prices. If gold makes a truly large move their hedge book may take them under. Im not an expert on their finances but nevertheless avoid abx. Research some unhedged gold plays like MDG, NEM, AEM. Many here are better qualified to pick them than I. Buy what they buy. Golds have rebounded a bit from the post 9-11 runup and then dump but I see the $xau and $hui at the long term demand line hinting at a further bounce up. Fear has never been higher IMO nor has it ever been more justified than now.
