NEWS RELEASE---SURE LOOKS GOOD!!!!
A second diamond drill has been mobilized and is drilling on
the San Jose de Gracia project, Sinaloa State, Mexico.

The first drill is drilling infill holes in the area of Phase I drilling
on the Tres Amigos zone, while the second is being utilized to
test the defined 1.1 km southwest extension of the Tres
Amigos zone. Upon completion of the infill drilling, one drill
will be moved to the Purisima Ridge zone. Continuing
groundwork, trenching and mapping has located four additional
old mines within the Purisima Ridge zone and has expanded
the potential to over 1.5 km length. Two additional veins have
also been identified within the Los Hilos portion of the Tres
Amigos structure and will be drill tested as part of the stepout
drilling.

The program is being monitored on site by Marvin Mitchell, P.
Eng., the Company's independent geological engineer. The
standards of care being applied to sampling, core and sample
handling and assaying are as described in the Company's news
release dated May 12, 1997.

Results from surface sampling are expected shortly followed
by results from the drilling. Assays from all phases of
exploration will be released as they are received and compiled.
