If there is anthrax in the mail, what you'd be exposed to, more likely than not, is going to be on the outside. If you are really worried, open the mailbox wearing gloves and a mask, open the mail outside, and throw the envelopes in the trash, too. Maybe put the parts you want to keep into a plastic bag to keep from mixing everything up befire you bring it inside.

A P100 filter will filter out anthrax spores, and it will last a very long time. If you can't get a mask with P100 filters, then get one with N100 filters. Those are just as good but they don't last as long.

I guess I am going to have a hard time getting my bees next spring. I don't think radiation is good for bees.
