Re: AMD released the 2.0 GHz Hamster on time - didn't they? Much more important, AMD released and has been shipping a Palomino Athlon XP 1800+ that outperforms Intel's P4 2000 in time for the holiday selling period. Equally important, IBM released its SOI PowerPC chips on time and well ahead of McKinley - if only the Merced/Itanium/McKinley program hadn't been delayed....
