A different question.
It seems to me that the press keeps trying to say that these Fundementalists aren't representing Islam, they have perverted it. OK. Let's take a look.
1. Of the major religions in the world, with the exception of the former Yugoslovia, and perhaps including it, doesn't it appear that wars are never Chrisitian against Christian, Christian against Jew or visa versa (although I'm not to comfortable with that one given WWII and groups like the Arian this or that) but always Muslim against Muslim (Shite versus Sunni), Muslim against Jew (Israel), Muslim against the West (WTC, etc), Muslim against the Hindu (India), Muslim against the Russian Orthodox(Chechnia), Muslim against Protestant(Croatia and Pakestan), Muslim against Catholic(Phillipines), or Muslim against Confusus (China).
2. Only Islam calls other religions names in there major treatise: (Christians and Jews) are labeled sons of pigs and monkeys. Only Islam calls for the death of nonbelievers and sends both positive messages earlier in the Koran and murderous messages later.
3. I realize and am greatful to the many wonderful things that the 'golden age' of Islam brought to the world. But today, this is no longer a religion but a philosphy of hate, murder, oppression, and corruption. Thre are no Islamic democracies, there are no freedoms of expression allowed in any Islamic Arab state (perhaps with the exception of Dubai). Thus one can argue that between the Shieks, Imams, and dictators, armed with propaganda like Al-Jeezera this religion tries to gain new converts by lieing to a gullable public, then taking the offerings they get and smuggle them to kill in other parts of the world.
Based upon the above, I urge my fellow Americans and friends in Great Britan to reflect and determine whether or not they ought to ride in that cab driven by a Muslim, whether they should buy that Fallafel sandwich, or Humas from the Arab restuarant, and whether they should stand with a small business owner who happens to be Arab. He or she may be fine individuals, but the money they give to their Mosques will likely be put to youth to put our sons and daughters to death.
I would like inteligent counters to this arguement, and especially invite Arab Americans or Arab British subjects to respond. |
