Was Rivard of Richmont ever involved in anything with Gill of Aur?

You have good memory marcos. In fact, RIC unsuccessfully tried to take control of Louvem(LOV). They now have a majority stake in LOV (69,3%).

Louvem was the company that held the ground where was discovered the Louvicourt deposit. It was a joint venture with AUR (Gill's company). LOV was then controlled by Ste-Geneviève (P. Gauthier's company)

But at that time, Rivard was not yet involved in Louvem. He later bought it's stake from Gauthier after the «spin-off» of Novicourt.

So, there is some kind of link between the two!
