Two years have now gone by and, funny thing, Samsung has announced mass production of DDR SO-DIMMs, spec sheets for DDR micro DIMMs, but they still don't even have spec sheets for RDRAM SO-RIMMs. In addition, Intel is putting DDR on their mobile P4s, but no RDRAM:

Any explanations for why engineers would be so stupid as to use a technology that uses 1.4x as much power in a notebook? Or were you just wrong, wrong, wrong?
