You're referring to the micro details. However, if I read this correctly, while he makes micro choices, the model incorporates macro detail. From a macro standpoint, psychology is incorporated with the movement of market indices, and other economic information, that is loaded. Emotions drive the stock market, so any movement in price is indicative of the emotion at that time. Whether his model can predict a meat packing system or a bomb maker depends on the inputs he uses. If the market moves in such a manner to show that these are credible long term investments (movement which would be based on emotion today rather than long term fundamental basis), then his model should pick it up. Wars differ on many fronts, but the basics of war remain the same. The Anthrax "threat" (which is anything BUT) may show some short term blips, but whether he has it built in or not will be negligible in the long term unless a better Anthrax distribution method is found.....or the media finds a better way to scare people. |
