VIOLENCE IN THE BIBLE AND THE KORAN:

The purpose of the last 3 posts of mine were to suggest
that there is plenty of VIOLENCE in the bible, and not just
the Koran.

These are ancient writings of a distant time. It was a
VIOLENT time, just as this is a VIOLENT time.

I do not think it behooves any of us to be critical of another person's path based on such "evidence".

This kind of stuff is far removed from the core message of
any serious religion. Just because of the inclusion of what is essentially historical and near "myth-like" material,
the whole message should not be dismissed or trashed.

I am interested to know what people consider the "core message" of Islam to be. Equally Christianity. I've already described the core message of my Path.

Could we perhaps find if there are any commonalities?
