from me: Re: Funny, Dan, in our discussions yesterday you were maintaining that Intel WAS manipulating their balance sheet, specifically the PP&E Dan3: No, what I was pointing out was that the level of earnings they've been reporting for the past two years doesn't make sense in the context of the damage done to their balance sheet in the same period. In this post: Message 16578064 you specifically stated that Intel was inflating the value of PP&E, and you implied that it was a conscious inflation so as to cover up an earnings deficiency. That's manipulating the balance sheet. Yesterday according to you they manipulate the balance sheet. And that was specifically where I said that you were wrong. Today according to you it is impossible to manipulate the balance sheet. It's good to see that even though you can't admit that you were wrong, at least you can learn.
