Well, maybe AMD will be on time with SOI, and maybe they won't. Maybe it will be a success, and maybe it won't. However, what Dan3 is ignoring is the fact that Intel will have their .09u process in early 2003, or shortly after an even optimistic launch of AMD's .13u SOI.
