Jeff, there are plenty of 10 years and 5 years notes coming down on us. Eliminating the 30 year bond is to be more in tune with the rest of the world and also to put a bullish tone under the market short term. The spread players and those shorting the 30 year and more so the intermediate strips got their head handed to them, even in a hedged situation.

All in all it is better for the US Treasury they save money and also they can choose whenever they want to reissue 30 year bonds if they want to do so.
