Actually I think he started bringing up serious concerns about ATHM at the end of 1999 fairly close to the peak in price. I remember how much flack he received when saying he thought it was worth $20 when it was headed for triple digits. You see the advantage I have over you is that I have been on this thread for a really long time, I have a good memory and I don't have an axe to grind.

I remembered the exchange you linked about options fairly well.

I was also referring to our exchange of course... since he refused to see the obvious.

And so did you because you were so wrapped up in showing him wrong you missed a real opportunity. If it had been me on the other end of that exchange I'd have wanted to know how he was so certain about his position. You assume its because he never admits he is wrong, but maybe he actually knows something you don't. You'll never know. Men miss opportunities to learn something all the time because they have that irrepressible urge to show what Big Swinging Richards they are instead of taking opportunities when presented. Its quite amusing from here.

BTW, this thing really going out at zero?

Only the most optimistic of shareholder would think otherwise. Hope kills you in the market.
