Re: Costs don't really start coming down until the 2nd or 3rd year How long has it been since a leading edge manufacturing process was still being used to FAB CPUs 2 or 3 years after it was introduced? When will Intel's .18 process be 3 years old and what percentage of Intel's CPUs will be using that process at that time? Hint: Availability of .18 chips from Intel first occurred in Q4 of 1999.
