Look below for your comments still trying to justify what colonization by showing some dubiou results a few hundred years later.

On the other hand, Maurice is right that some good things were introduced into the colonies.
An interesting question, to me, is what would have happened if there had been no colonies. If the only interactions had been peaceful trade, where would India and Africa be now?
