Aren't we confusing two different groups here? Federal Marshals on the plane. Government.
Baggage checkerson the ground? Non-government.
But both under federal supervision.
If we insist our lives can only be trusted to those employed by the government then it follows
pilots, mechanics,and possibly others must become federal employees.
Further discussion, please. Civilized, perhaps?
