SMY pulled back the placement as predicted.

This was post Sept 11 and while it was the suggested
25% dilution that pulled it down, it will need something
more than its withdrawal to push it back up.

I understand that things are still progressing with the
testing among the clients and this was not expected to
result in real sales until very late 01 and more likely
early 02.

I suspect SMY is learning that these large companies
also have a lot of politics going on and that doesn't
seem to be Cliff Horowitz's style. He just likes to
get things done.

I wouldn't be suprised to see SMY enter into a relationship
with a new party in addition to its ongoing activities
with International Paper.

I believe we'll see similar numbers to the last quarter
with slightly higher revenue. This is really just
reimbursement of expenses related to SMY/IP activity
paid for by IP.

It'll take news to move us out of this range and my
suspicion is the first announcement will be a Revlon
contract which was proceeding well and was apparently
further along.

Any decent sized contract (and all the testing is with
fortune 50 companies) should propel this back above
its previous 2.50-3.50 range.

I recommend everyone do their own research before buying
or selling.
