John I just got to Dan's post that you are talking about. While actual numbers may or may not be accurate Dan, IMHO, made a good point on overcapacity. Instead of addressing the main issue of overcapacity in general you became defensive about 50mil mark. AMD sells ~30 million chips currently. Considering that amd is moving to hammer which is larger and .13 soi process yields are not proven yet we may see an actual unit reduction on amds part. The new amd fab delayed indefinitely. Intel, OTOH, is building capacity like crazy Regards -Albert
