My youngest went out and found only two houses that were handing out treats. He was going uptown with his friends but their mothers would not allow their sons to go out because of anthrax. So, I took him to my club. Along the way, there were isolated streets where kids were doing okay, but the golf club anticipated the problem and had the staff dress up in costumes and hand out candy. The staff liked it, the best costume won a hundred bucks. The kid liked it. The staff and I get along and they brought him in to the fold and while I played cards and stuff he and they goofed on the kids that came in. Yankees getting hurt, ninth inning. 3-1
