Every day I say a little prayer thanking god for the conservatives; the GOP leadership, and especially the Republican members that sat on the intelligence committees. Those that were fully aware of the intelligence on the Sudanese aspirin factory, as you call it, and the association with it and Osasma Bin Laden and it's dual use as a biological factory of terror.

They chose to sit silently and with hold any public support for President Clinton's early attempt to get rid of Bin Laden or the destruction of the of the factory. Instead they chose to chase every manufactured inuendo they could imagine through Dan Burton. In the end and $50M later they caught Clinton lying about an extramarital affair.

The choice they made was political advantage over the security of the American people.

Now we have 5,000 dead; a collapsing economy; retroactive tax breaks to corporations.

I envision a new memorial. Bush at the top, surrounded by Trent Lott, Dan Burton and "Rush". The inscription...."Without these heroes rising out of the ashes of the disaster of the New York World Trade Center would not have been possible." The site of the World Trade centers is quite appropriate.

The only thing left now is to decide which demomination we want George W. Bush's picture on.

Puff up your chest, you have a party you can be proud of.
