I posted this on another thread yesterday. Here is an interesting idea for protecting our ports from a smuggled weapon, say a fuel-air weapon or even a nuclear weapon that could easily be carried inside a container. Such a weapon could be armed to explode if the container was opened for inspection, or even by a cell phone trigger, and we don't have nearly enough inspectors, equipment, or money to inspect each and every container.
