Rhetoric Alert!
Since you keep on bringing up the Clintons; I feel obligated to make you aware of a Rhetoric Alert! from the GOP. [A Rhetoric Alert is the announcement of new rhetoric to be used by the conservative base. It's important that all conservatives be distributed these rhetoric alert on a timely basis...since often times they contradict previously established rhetoric.]
You might recall the proposed Clinton rule on reducing arsenic levels in drinking water. You must recall the rhetoric there...last minute EO, no sound science, pandering to environmentalist, un-necessary/unneeded impact to local governments...etc., etc.., etc...
Rhetoric Alert...forget all that stuff. The arsenic rules are good! latimes.com Bush Team OKs Clinton Arsenic Rules Whitman, unveiling her decision in a letter to the members of the conference committee, said: "This standard will improve the safety of drinking water for millions of Americans and better protect against the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes."
So once again....forget all that stuff about no sound science, un-necessary impact to local governments, etc...
The new rhetoric..."This standard will improve the safety of drinking water for millions of Americans and better protect against the risk of cancer, heart disease and diabetes."
Also, don't forget to get a quote that talks about Clinton's failure to improve the drinking standards of Americans...[no need to mention that Bush blocked it]
Three Cheers for the Conservatives...hip, hip, hooray! I see a memorial in the works for Christi Todd Whitman....
