Hello Tim:

Almost every institution that I talk to is "realining" their portfolio ie. selling juniors, to clear their slate for the second quarter (June 30, 1997). I am plugging away and their is alot of interested larger scale buyers out there! Many senior oils are overpriced currently, trading way above standardized cashflow and earnings multiples. There will be a shift toward mid and junior producers soon, I hope.

Just to let you know Tim, July is the month where we are making a very dilibrate effort to let everyone know our story. This includes many road shows with institutional, retail and analyst meetings, and getting infront of as many newsletter and media writers as possible. Gentry was just featured in "UPSTREAM" the Newspaper as one of the two top junior Canadian Oils to watch. This newpaper has a large European Distribution and I have already received three institutional inquiries, two from London one from Oslo.

Remember, it is month end now. Give this company some time, people will begin to notice us soon. The next few news releases will do alot to add to the merits of the company, through both producion and reserve increases, and also adding to our exploration portfolio. Remember Tim, I do what I say, and I work hard. Eventually, all my hard work and the hard work of Gentry's management will pay off to the Gentry Shareholder!!!!

PS: Maybe sooner, than later!

Best Regards,

Bob
